My journey began in Tehran, Iran, where my family relocated to Israel and later to the United States during my early years.
Despite initially aspiring to become a fashion designer, my passion shifted towards the theater and film industry. At the age of 25, I embarked on formal training in theater.
My breakthrough came at the Gene Frankel Theater, where I garnered attention for my portrayal of Gittel in William Gibson’s play. Subsequently, I participated in Off-Broadway productions like “Grotesque Love Songs,” “Savage in Limbo,” and “Barefoot in the Park.”
Transitioning my focus to television and film, I ventured into short films and independent features. Notably, I made appearances in “Sex and the City,” an HBO series, and played a role in the ABC daytime serial “One Life to Live.”
My diverse roles also include portraying the Iraqi Mother in “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” & Pamphlet Woman in “Law & Order”.
